Dasamsa Chart

The Dasamsa Chart is one of the 16 divisional charts in Vedic astrology. "Dasa" means ten, and "Ama" means division or fractional division in the ancient language Sanskrit. The zodiac sign, which comprises 30 degrees, is equally divided into ten parts. Each equal part is 3 degrees, and this forms the Dasamsa chart or D10, which is interpreted along with the birth chart. The D10 chart is an extension of the 10th house of the birth chart.

The Dasamsa or D10 chart is also called Karmamsa or Swargamsa. According to Sage Parasara, this chart indicates "Maha Phal," meaning a great fruit.
