However, Tuesday and Saturday are considered inauspicious due to the influence of Mars (the planet of war) and Saturn (the planet of karma) on these days. In terms of tithi (lunar days), the 4th, 8th, 9th, 14th, and New Moon days are also not recommended for wearing new clothes according to Vedic texts.
